This class uses a combined modified sequence of Pilates and yoga exercises, designed especially for pregnant women. This combination can help strengthen the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, improve balance and alignment as the body grows bigger and can help reduce lower back pain. Practicing the breathing will help you manage the pain during labour which is important, as well as teaching the technique of lateral breathing, which will make breathing more effective when you don’t have as much room to breathe.
